Yellow Sapphire (Pukhraj) is associated with Jupiter, the planet of wisdom, teachers, children and prosperity. It is commonly recommended for Sagittarius, Pisces, Aries, Cancer and Scorpio ascendants — but only after checking Jupiter in your own chart.
Traditional wearing method
- Metal: gold, or silver/panchdhatu as an alternative.
- Finger: index finger of the working hand.
- Day & time: Thursday morning during Shukla Paksha, within about two hours of sunrise.
- Purification: dip in raw milk and Gangajal, then chant “Om Gram Greem Groum Sah Gurave Namah” 108 times.
